About Me

My name is Amelia Gallivan. I am a fully qualified and insured veterinary physiotherapist based in Cardiff, South Wales. I currently cover South Wales & and South West England.

Who am I?

In 2021, I proudly graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Zoology. Throughout my academic journey in Bristol, I specialized in animal behaviour, delving into courses such as brains, behaviour and evolution, the acquisition of behaviour, and sensory biology. These subjects deeply fascinated me, sparking an exploration into the intricate world of animal behaviour and the underlying 'how' and 'why' questions. This journey ignited my passion for understanding and improving the lives of animals, aligning seamlessly with my pursuit of a career in veterinary physiotherapy.

After successfully completing my undergraduate studies, I enrolled in the MSc Veterinary Physiotherapy program at Harper Adams University. I was drawn to this course for its emphasis on the practical application of evidence-based physiotherapy. Presently, I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy and am actively advancing in my studies, working on my research project with the aim of attaining my Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
